At Spillane World Markets, we provide the space for trading. Therefore, you need to source and provide your own gazebo/table etc.

What do you require me to bring?

We require professional gazebos only which usually cost somewhere between €400-€800. Please note that 4 x 15kg disc weights (one for each leg of your gazebo) are essential for gazebos. Sandbags are not allowed. You must also bring rope or bungee cords to enable your gazebo to be tied in the event of a windy day.

Do I need insurance for my stall?

Vendors must have public liability insurance for their stall in order to trade with us. This can be obtained from Application – MAST or Public Liability Insurance Ireland | IOMST.

A HSE food certificate is essential for your market stall. Ideally any vendors selling food will have also completed a HACCP course.

Vendors pay up front each month and are expected to trade each market day. No credit is issued for no show including illness, holidays or logical issues. We only accept occasional traders as table stalls at our St. Patrick Park Market.

How does set up/break down work?

Set up and break down commence 1.5 hours before and after the trading hours. Vehicular access is permitted into the market up until a specific time given by the manager of the market for set up only. Vendors are required to unload their vehicles first and then set up their stall once their vehicle has left the premises. After the market, vehicular access is allowed on premises again for load up once stalls have been broken down.
